14 Ways To Obtain A Better Sleep Performance
You could become better at everything you do…
1. Steady schedule
When you keep a steady daily routine, your body will have an easier time maintaining a physiological balance. This will create a domino effect on food intake, mood, and behavior, and not only will your sleep performance improve, but it will result in other aspects of your life over time.
2. Fasting
Just kidding, not fasting, but TRE seems like a useful pathway to follow when we want to get better sleep.
Timing food has been a way to get into a decent system when we are babies; guess what, when we are older, we are still that same person. We tend to forget that having meals at timed moments of the day keeps our metabolism operating well. The only difference from when we were babies is the activity level and our melatonin hormone, which is not there yet just after birth; it takes up to 3 months before babies start making the hormone melatonin, which puts their sleep cycle into a more regular rhythm.
Until then, you are teaching them the rhythm by food timing; think about it. Use it as a tool to prime your sleep when you are older.
