A New Year Means New Goal Setting, Or Not?

Are you that person who makes a new goal list every year?

In for a quicky?

Every new year I have a list of certain goals I want to achieve.

Do you have a list like that every year?

If you did, I hope your system was better than mine.

Improving means working towards something better, working toward a better situation. Doing something which gives moral or intellectual benefit. For you this could mean meeting up with new people, starting a new business, building a better habit.. For another person this could mean exchanging some bad habits for other ones, starting a new relationship,..ect.

Every year I set up a big “to achieve list.”

But the shortcut of truth: ”I never complete my list!”

This year I’m trying something different, something where I am not good at, something which I don’t do enough, which is: “Simplify the list.”

All of my to achieve lists were rather long, they contained at least 20 items. 20 items to check off for a complete year can’t seem too much though, still the fact that i wasn’t able to check off those lists entirely the last 3 years means they were too big for me.
