Prepare yourself to make exactly $0 in the first year of writing. Many writers claim to have a slow start; they didn’t earn any money on their blogging at the beginning of their writing quest!

- Focus on building a writer’s portfolio
- Don’t throw money around to gain momentum
- No one wants to read the work of a writer who thinks he is the best writer; it doesn’t serve any value
