After Nearly Two Years Of Writing, I’m Still On My Path Of Discovery And Conquering Steep Mountains
Perhaps, I learn slower than average content creators. Here’s one lesson which worked well to gain writing momentum.
“Leave your page open. You’re writing”
You can stop reading here.
I’ve encountered a serious problem. For a while, I didn’t deliver. I’m not ashamed of it. I try to analyze my path of struggle to seek out what could be useful for other struggling writers.
Why this helped me?
I often kept a habit of starting to write something here, pressing the “write” button on Medium. To inform you, I never started to write on an empty page. An outline is key, as you know. So that’s the least you can do for your writing. (I’ve implemented an easy-to-apply outline assistant a bit further.)
“What I found causing the biggest problem was me closing unfinished writings.”
I found it worked better to write two or three days on a post you’ve left open than closing a page and never coming back to it.
