Fairly true.
It depends on what you want and the position you’re in as well, I must say.
Some people want to create a name or brand through content overload… And there is nothing wrong with it, if that’s what you want. But sooner or later you’ll find you’re spitting out stuff that’s familiar advice or random knowledge already… I can tell you, you’ll get bored and lose motivation.
Other devoted writers want to share great stuff. They want to share unique and helpful material. They want to grow by practice but only share value. We all have better and worse moments, so it will reflect in our writing, what has set me free as a writer is to reduce my output.
Writing and publishing when I feel like, when my writing feels like it makes sense, when I know I have something to tell a bit different then mainstream hype, something that can be useful.
