Great read Ram Mo.

I've struggled a lot with publishing consistently too, I understand what you mean.

Here are some things that helped me or at least element that reduced the stressing (which I think you've exeprienced as well) about not publishing consistently "daily."

Look, most high performing writers post consistently at certain times, some write 7 to 10 articles per week. Look at Eve Arnold, Tim Denning, and Dr. Mehmet Yildiz for instance.. Of course there will be more..

Another great writer is Ayodeji Awosika. He swears never to have had writing blocks. He as written a lot of great stuff to. Although he doesn't experience writers block, his tactic is to post around 2 to 4 articles per week. But you should try to do at least 2.

This method, I found, releases a lot of publishing stress from your neck.

Now, I like to write here, still I don't always publish 2 articles per week. And I'm fine with it.

Myself, I'm here for nearly three years and have written 315 blogposts/articles. My earnings are very poor. Just as my consistent publishig output.

It all depends what you want. Reach remarkable heights "fast," or make your publishing sustainable for the rest of your life..

At least that's how I think of it. I like to wrap my mind around what I'm willing to write, and sometimes it takes me a week to be satisfied with a piece. So be it. Then, i'm sorry for my audience, but this is the method that works for me to deliver something meaningful.

That said, I admire writers who can easily produce one fabulous piece per day, but if you are a part time writer as Eve Arnold would state, for me next to my job and family, what I do now, is sustainable.

I believe in the long term game and that my writing will reach those who it must on time.

Because I keep piblishing here on Medium after lows and heights... I know I will be here for a very long time.

The question that helped me most is:

"What's sustainable for you?"

The honest answer to this will reinforce your publish sustainability.

Given the fact that you're already here for a year, likely we fit that same group.

Stay sustainable and ignore the pack.

Thrive!
