Great thoughts Emil!
This post sesonates with many people I would dare to say.
Often I encounter the same traits like what you describe here, you want to take on too much.
Arguably doing a lot can reap you huge rewards in the short term. It's also a recipe for disaster en unhappiness.
Reducing mental load is the best way to navigate through life.
At my job I am a master at this craft. Recently I started to use the eisenhower technique, it's burned in my mind now.
Perhaps you are familiar with this system? If not, for sure check it out.
But the eisenhower doesn't work that well in my private time. (There's just always so much things to do, and so many interests that are triggered).
Today I take my writing approach as it comes. Write what I like and when I like. Although I would want to publish daily, with this mindset i'm not stressing out all the time when a deadline isn't achieved. Some people will unfollow me for this reason, but I'm fine with that.
Admittingly, it's also a flaw in our personal system. Nevertheless, doing what keeps you happy ia the true aim in our lives.
Follow your feeling and you'll be fine!
Thrive!
