Marq,

I am sorry, you are partly correct. Carbs get stored as glycogen in lever and muscle first they are the primary fuelsource of our body.

Our body does store unused carbohydrates into fat.

But only as a secondary option, not primary. Meaning when you eat in a calorie defecit you can eat as much carbs as you want without gaining fat.. Carbs get stored in the liver and muscles first, and only when not used as fat.

Diet suggestion: Eat your lowest limit of fat intake 0,8 gr per kg of bodyweight, 2 to 3 gr protein per kg bodyweight and fill the rest of your daily calorie requirements with complex carbs, vitamins and fibers.

Note that carbs do get stored as fat, but only when your intake becomes too high (mostly when overconsuming daily calorie needs)

Low fat and high carbs, will burn a lot of carbs and store a low amount of fat i hope this makes makes more sense?

Thanks for your statement! i hope this provides you answers.
