I know exactly what you mean. When I just started it was something similar, and indeed scrapping cable is the most nasty part of the job.

I can imagine, and I like the Stihl saw as much as you do I can tell!

That said, there are also more pleasant aspects I'm fortunate enough to have a lot of diversity from operating to deck works and more...

These days we are equipped with better tools and this makes matters much better.

I'll try to keep the job a little more interesting by writing some posts for those who might want to read them like you did!
