How to nap or how not to nap?
In for a power nap?
Experiencing total benefit from sleep doesn’t always and only happen during your nights.
That’s where the power of a nap comes in handy!
First of all, why would you nap?
Just to name a few:
- Fight off burnouts
- Increase your alertness
- Optimize your senses
When talking about sleep, I dislike the fact that people start to think that it’s all about bedtime and about duration or just laying flat and doing nothing.
When you organize your sleep sufficiently, it can enable you to win time! In that sense, you could look like a productivity tool. I know the visual perspective of seeing someone taking a nap doesn’t really attract the idea of being productive.
But it’s a matter of how you look at things; when you see someone taking a nap at the moment, it’s just the most unproductive thing you can perceive. I couldn’t agree more!
But when you look at it over a day or a week, everything changes. Visual perception has its ways of fooling you.
