That short car ride which predicts your future
An analogy of how a small drive could explain the principle of how you direct your outcome
Yesterday, an early car drive for 40 minutes which took 1h30 minutes. A reroute around Pluto, this due to the world championship time trial cycling which happens in Knokke-Heist, Belgium.
It was shit but okay things happen.. stick with me for the ride back home please.
That ride back home on that same re-route
We all have these moments where we have a goal set. A goal set or some kind of finish line we set for ourselves which we should be able to reach in time to stay on track.
Our brains are believed to be very good at cleaning toxic waste as well as to anticipate future happenings. But how exactly does this happen?
That ride back home made me wonder, and it could make you wonder as well. Meaning i am not the only one, more people have been in a similar situational sketch.
Driving back home, leaving at 12h25. Setting up a mental goal, which would make sure that i get back at 14h00. Nothing special, except for the fact that I needed to stop in a supermarket where I am not familiar with to shop a 30 items-list which my wife made up…
I looked at my watch…
