Very insightful article.

Something that helps me mentally navigate in a positive heading is always stepping back to the principle of adaptation.

Everything is dynamic, especially we as humans. How I see it (as a "young" 37er) as we grow old (>60s) web
program ourself with the idea that from then you're in a downward spiral. And while aging is somewhat inevetable, it is due to a lifelong growth mindset very possible to fight declination tremendously as how you for instance many times exposed in your articles Dr.

In conclusion:

"We are the adaptation of our average stimuli."

The majority of the society enters a declination much earlier than they should, due to their beliefs and total lifestyle transformation when people hit retirement.

It's the difference in food timings, different foods, more drinks to celebrate the golden retirement milestone, less physical activity, less outside activity, less mental effort, low- to no forthsight.

Subconsciously you're setting your internal lifespan-clock much sooner than you should.

I notice so many people struggling with keeping themselves motivated and stimulated.

Honestly, I know much tricks to keep myself occupied-can't recall myself ever being bored. I assume most people here on medium know how to keep themselves , especially mentally occupied.

However, when you look around in the "real world" only few possess the powers which you so clearly describe here. 99.5% for sure not at a similar level as you Dr.

I'm always stunned after reading your writings.

Thanks!
