These days sleep has become more and more a topic among discussions. Sometimes driven too far socially, and other times perhaps not taken seriously enough.
Many of us have only become more aware about the importance of sleep in the last decade or so. The devastating effects of sleep disorders have become known or at least the side-effects of it.
I could talk hours about what the effects of sleep deprivation are.. A lot of research has been done and pointed out the negative effects. Therefore it has underlined the importance of sleep as well. Understanding the devastating effects of sleep deprivation could be an eye-opener for a lot of people.
From our surroundings i am very surprised to notice many people don’t seem to be talking about their sleeping problems. Not all people seem to understand the importance of chronic sleep deprivation and what the effects are on our behaviors and health.
