“Why you might want to neglect the high travel costs.”

For half of my life, I’ve been fortunate to be able to travel around a significant part of the world.

Somewhat 70% of my traveling was work-related, against 30% of my traveling for pleasure. Traveling for me has become my second nature without me realizing it that much. In the end, I always took something (not materialistic) home from traveling.

Frankly, I’m a boring guy. If it were up to me, when I’m home from work, I would just workout, read, write, take care of the kids, recover, and prepare food.

At home, we don’t argue much, but when we do, it’s about traveling.

My wife still has a strong urge to travel, and also the kids are very enthusiastic when we do so.

So, who I’m I to tell them not to?

The main issue: “Most trips are ridiculously expensive!”

Agree, you can plan your trip ahead to make it cheaper, but still…
